Can we see patients while credentialing is pending?
Yes, but you cannot bill those payers until your effective date. Some payers allow backdating to the application submission date — RevantaRCM specifically requests retroactive effective dates wherever payer policy allows.
What is CAQH and do I need it?
CAQH ProView is a centralized database most commercial payers use to verify provider credentials. Most major payers require an active, up-to-date CAQH profile before they will process your enrollment application.
